The use of recycled polyester significantly reduces CO₂ emissions during manufacture compared to virgin polyester. At the heart of Kialma's approach is transparency: from the production of the yarn to the final product, the composition of the bags and their traceability are guaranteed. With our concept incorporating recycled polyester and Aware™ tracers, we offer the perfect blend of eco-responsibility and innovation. The Aware™ tracers, detectable via a hand scanner, give each bag made with this filament a digital passport, allowing consumers to verify the authenticity of their purchases.

The K-loop project

Specialist bag and luggage brand Kimood is playing a central role in the K-loop collaborative circular economy project. This project focuses on respect for the environment and traceability, combining the use of recycled and organic materials with total transparency of the manufacturing process for consumers. Aware™ technology is essential to ensure this traceability, by combining tracers (microparticles) with a secure and neutral storage solution (blockchain). These tracers are integrated into the fibre of products during manufacture, creating a unique digital identity, a "digital passport". This technological innovation guarantees the authenticity of certified products.
