KIMOOD CONSCIOUS COLLECTION: A BRAND THAT HAS A HISTORY WITH WOMEN

Kimood Conscious Collection

A BRAND THAT HAS A HISTORY WITH WOMEN

The Conscious collection by Kimood is made mainly from natural materials such as jute and cotton. It also includes Oekotex and/or OCS 100 certified products. It is made in an Indian factory, Kariwala, whose growth we’ve been following for years and that reflects our core values of respect towards people and the environment.

Recognised by the United Nations Global Compact* (UNGC), this factory has been rewarded for its exceptional initiatives for women, enabling them to give their families a better life and, in some cases, escape insecure crisis situations.

With a strong presence in the social and economic fabric of India, our partner runs a nursery for its employees’ children, provides them with access to health care and organises wellness activities and events, such as yoga classes and an environment day.

Kariwala’s environmental approach involves using solar panels to produce their own energy and a water purification and sanitation system that is used extensively when producing markings.

Fitted out with latest-generation machines, this factory guarantees high-quality end products. To keep its standards high, it is frequently audited by organisations such as OCS, Oekotex, BSCI and Fair Trade. For all of these reasons, Kimood opted to entrust this factory with the production of its Conscious Collection which reflects the moral, social and ethical values upheld by our brands.

Our product manager, Matteo Borri, visits this factory regularly. We support them in their initiative and ensure that they always develop in line with the valueswe uphold. The order commitments Kimood has with Kariwala help modernise its facilities.

Matteo is closely monitoring this partner’s growth. He can bear witness to this factory’s determination to help women by guaranteeing them a long-term job and a fair salary while respecting the environment.

The quality of Kimood’s products matters, but the happiness of the women who work there is just as important.
